Aug 20, 2019
Jeff Spencer is a person you definitely have to learn from if you are on track to high performance or high levels of success. He's an olympian, sports psychologist, athletic training consultant, and as if that wasn't enough, he's also an artist who has had several successful exhibitions. It's amazing how can one person can do so many things! Jeff Spencer participated on the Munich, Olympic games and the events he experienced there led him to take interest and action into the human mind.
In this episode, I interview Jeff and ask him directly what his trick for successful goal setting and high performance are. He talks about the importance of preparation before climbing to the summit of success, and the actual characteristics of the high performers he works with.
Jeff calls himself the “corner man,”as in the person athletes and business people trusts as a mentor because he is in their corner helping them win. We discuss the importance of this figure in everyone's life and how you can achieve greatness if you don't have a person like this in yours.
He strikes a simple yet revealing truth about goal setting: it all starts with the right goal, which is not as clear most of the time, and is a must to have to avoid doubts and fears, while knowing that there are fears that can actually be helpful!
